Hair has been my life since I left school and finding where I belonged in the industry has been a journey.
I started in hairdressing getting to grips with the basics and finding my feet as a person, and as a stylist, this is where my passion for hair went crazy. Now knowing that I loved all things hair I looked at what else I could achieve within it, that’s when I went to London School of Barbering and got creative with all the modern, crazy men’s styles. I loved it!
There was so much to learn, and it was the complete opposite of hairdressing, and this is when I really found where I belong, in the barbering world.
In 2017 I joined The Dude Lab as a Barber and learnt to direct my creative skills in new ways that I couldn’t with hairdressing and the best bit about it was that I built up a strong clientele and felt like I was finally excelling in life.
I had only been at The Dude Lab a few months when Tom introduced me the world of hair replacement and Total Cover Plus, I didn’t know a lot about it at this point, but I was interested, so I started watching, listening, spending time with Tom and his client’s.
Watching Tom work and the transformations that were happening in front of my eyes were amazing and the confidence it gives both our male and female clients was crazy, I knew I had to be a part of it.
Through Tom’s guidance as the Offical Trainer for Total Cover Plus and as a system wearer himself, we have worked as a team to work with so many different clients to understand them and what they are looking for when entering into the world of Hair Replacement.
For me, a Total Cover Plus system must work for all ages and style requests. So I enjoy taking time out with client’s to push the systems to the limits, seeing what styles we could do, how to give that modern look and how to do what hasn’t been achieved before and as a team, the feedback we get, tells us we are getting it right!
Here I am 4 years down the line, changing life’s every day and loving every minute of it!

I’ve been in the industry for ten years. I started when I was about 16 after doing a few months of a course in a college that wasn’t for me. I decided I wanted to go down more of a creative route and salon life was the route for me!
After working in London and Essex over the years, gaining as much training as possible, I just decided I’d reached my limit in the salon life and wanted to push myself further. Something completely different.
I started wearing a system in December 2020, and I had no idea regarding the dynamics of it or how it worked. But since having one and receiving all the positive feedback, I thought, right, this is it.
I want to make people feel the way I felt when I had mine done. After my first visit to a Total Cover Plus studio, I was amazed at the difference in the hair quality, the hairline & the longevity of the system compared to my first system. That’s when I realised that’s the company I wanted to work with!
Since starting with Total Cover Plus, I’ve been amazed at the transformations, the overwhelming happiness and the atmosphere in the studios. I look forward to progressing with the London Studio and our UK team.

I’ve never hidden that this was a 2nd career for me and it did come out of the blue.
I started to lose my hair in my early 20’s, and it wasn’t easy to handle. My confidence suffered, my perception of “being good looking” was what all my friends looked like with their fantastic hair or the guys in the magazines (yes Instagram wasn’t around when I was in my early 20’s), it just wasn’t what I was seeing staring me back in the mirror.
Around 2014/5 I spent my evenings on google looking for overnight “cures”, I met with hair transplant clinics, and none of them could give me my hair back, they could promise me the world and take a lot of money off me. Still, they couldn’t give me what everyone else had, and that is when I found Total Cover Plus, so where I am today, all started where you are today, as a client.
I met with a great Total Cover Plus stylist who just as my team does now gave me a consultation and I know it sounds cliche, but overnight it changed my world.
It was after I had my first system and being able to spend time with the Technical Director of Total Cover Plus that this world of hair loss no longer presented as the negative in my life, it was about to be turned in to a positive.
The following year I lost my Mum, and she made me promise that I would do something I genuinely connected to with my future. She saw I came alive after my first system, and she also heard the excitement in my when I spoke about the hair replacement world and how I could make a difference to what was already out there.
So with the full support (and some general pushing) of the Total Cover Plus team, I took redundancy from a career in the finance industry. I trained to become a barber, and with my qualifications, under the belt, it was time to let the real work begin, learn my trade and that is when I opened the doors to The Dude Lab in 2016.
Today I have a fantastic team based across multiple studio’s, and we are collectively changing lives for men and woman young who are all in the same boat because of different reasons.
I feel very blessed that I am where I am today, but it couldn’t be without the vision, support and knowledge of those around me. Most importantly each and every one of the clients that walk through our doors every day and it still takes my breath away as much as it did when I got my first system when I see a new client look in the mirror with their system for the first time, it’s truly priceless.
