Further, update regarding parking at Kennet Island.
Over the last few weeks, we have tried to get clarity from the developer, management company and parking company, all of which are 3rd parties and, unfortunately, are only sharing limited information with us; I am frustrated to say that they are all disagreeing with each other, that makes our job in advising where best to park a lot harder.
We would advise at this time to park only along the residential streets where there are no yellow lines or marked-out bays, at present we know that a small handful of clients have always parked in either of the bays when entering Kennet Island; unfortunately, these both seem to be causing issues on if they need a permit or not.
Roads that we have personally parked on and up to now had no issues:

St Agnes Way
Havergate Way
As always, this is advice, and we can not be held liable for any parking-related issues, tho please be assured, we are doing all we can to get a clear update from those in power with parking.

Coming by Car
If you are using a sat nav please use the postcode RG2 0GX. This will direct you to the Central Piazza.
From the M4: Exit at Junction 11 onto the A33 towards Reading. Continue on the A33 (straight over 3 more roundabouts) until you pass the Green Park Business Park at the third roundabout. Continue on the long straight section of the A33 until you see the large green sign to Kennet Island. Move into the right hand lane before the traffic lights and turn right into Kennet Island. Go straight ahead and you will arrive at the Piazza.
From Reading: Take the A33 out of Reading Town Centre, towards the M4. Continue on the A33 until you come onto a long straight section and you see the large green sign to Kennet Island. Turn left at the traffic lights into Kennet Island. Go straight ahead and you will arrive at the Piazza.
Parking
All parking options are within 1-4 Minutes from the Studio.
If you need any help on the day, just park up and ask one of the team and they will check for you!
Unrestricted – Free
The management company have informed us that parking restrictions are not in place from where the double yellow lines end after coming into Kennett Island until you reach the Piazza.
Rule of thumb, if the bay is marked with a house/flat number, do not park there.
Restricted – Free
There are many free parking spaces (2 hours) around The Piazza that do NOT require a parking permit. These are marked “2 HR V” on the bay.
(Please note we have been advised that there are no entrance and exit cameras to Kennett Island, so we have been advised that the parking management company cannot monitor those that go over the 2-hour limit if a parking warden has not seen you arrive).

They have confirmed that non-residents can also park in their secure car park. At present, there is no charge, but they advised it will be around £3.50 when they reintroduce charges.
We cannot accept reasonability for any vehicle parked on the Island and cannot be held responsible for any damage or parking fines.
Public Transport
Trains
The nearest train station is Reading Central, there is a Taxi Rank at the station, this is about an 8 minute transit time.
Buses
Reading Buses operate a daily dedicated Ruby Number 10 circular service from Kennet Island Central Piazza to Central Reading and Train Station. One way from Reading Train Station to KI Central Piazza is only 8-12 minutes average transit time.
Bus Stop: The nearest bus stop ‘Central Piazza’ is outside the Studio. Other bus stops – ‘Manor Farm Road’ and ‘The Hilton’ are 1 minute walk away.

The Studio is also conveniently located close to the Park and Ride at nearby Madejski Stadium.
