1. We are here to support you!

The whole team here and at Total Cover Plus have been working together to provide support during the lockdown to all of our clients. We are so pleased to have been able to support so many of you during this time, and we want to assure you that this support continues as we enter into the next stage.

2. Reopening of the hair studios

Further to the government announcement today we have been given the green light to commence trading from 4th July 2020

This is excellent news, and we are looking forward to welcoming you back into the Studio at your next appointment.

During the lockdown period, the Studio has been deep cleaned, and we have extensive safety measures in place to ensure that we help contain COVID-19. We can layout our commitment to you and the specific measurers to you, so you can be sure to be safe.

3. Our commitment to you

– The Studio will have a deep clean at the end of every day
– Each section & any area our team or yourself has come in to contact with will be sanitized after every appointment.
– All equipment is sanitized between appointments
– There is a hand sanitizer area at the front of the Studio for you to use
– Handtowels have been replaced with disposable paper towels
– Lined Bins are provided around the Studio for your use
– Gowns and Towels will be freshly cleaned for each appointment
– No drinks will be served during the appointment for your safety
– Our team will be health checked at the start of each day
– Face masks will be compulsory across our team & clients.
– No beard or cutthroat razor work will be undertaken at present.

4. Rebooking of appointments

We will do everything we can to accommodate extra appointments to ensure that every client will be looked after in a timely manner. So we will make sure that that there won’t be a long wait for you to get hair.

Generally, we will rebook clients in the order of appointments that we have had to cancel; this ensures fairness across our client base and I will be contacting all client’s from now to offer appointments.

5. New general opening hours

Please note that we are changing our opening times. We have seen many requests over the last 12 months for earlier and later appointments. We have taken this feedback on board and have made the following changes:

Tuesday & Thursday – 12:00 – 20:30
Wednesday, Friday & Saturday – 09:00 – 17:30

6. Housekeeping

System Production

System production is in full swing, we are seeing some slight delays in postage time from the factory, but we are working with Total Cover Plus to continue to track bespoke orders, and we have a very good stock level across the board for standard systems.

Payments

Within the Studios we will not be able to accept cash payments to protect you and our team. So we would like to ask you use contactless where possible or card payments. We are also able to accept BACS payments – however, these would have to be sent 24 hours prior to your appointment and confirmed by email to info@thedude-lab.co.uk .

Arriving for your appointment

To ensure we can maintain a safe level of social distancing within the Studio, we ask that you do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment as we are unable to accommodate an early arrival time.

If you do, unfortunately, arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, then we will have to ask you to rebook your appointment for the next available appointment.

If you do need to cancel your appointment, then please contact us, and if you do not feel well, then please contact us to postpone your appointment, and we work with you to get you in as soon as you are feeling well.

While we are all working hard to observe social distancing, we will be asking that unless you are under 16, please come to the appointment alone as we will be unable to accommodate friends and family accompanying you during the appointment.
